This research aims to delve deeper into the management and development of productive waqf and its strategies in Islamic boarding schools in Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The research is limited to the Al-Ihsan Riau Waqf Foundation, which manages productive waqf and supports one of the largest Islamic boarding schools in Kampar Regency. This study employs a field research approach with a qualitative descriptive methodology. Data analysis is conducted using the Qualitative Data Analysis (QDA) approach with the assistance of NVivo 12 Plus software. The assets of the foundation are dedicated to implementing religious education based on Islamic boarding school principles. In managing its waqf assets, the foundation focuses on strengthening its organizational system. This includes enhancing the quality of waqf trustees (nazhir), managing waqf asset administration and inventory, as well as organizational management. The Al-Ihsan Riau Waqf Foundation manages waqf through monetary and cash waqf, and also develops productive waqf by establishing business units such as Ahsanta Mart, Ahsanta Cafe, Ahsanta Agro, IBS Business Center, micro sharia financing, and an LPG gas station.
